Hot on the heals of the splendid indigenous festival “The Dreaming” came Northey St City Farm’s Winter Solstice Festival. It was a nice opportunity to catch up with a few friends I had not seen for a long time.

It was hard getting back into the groove of regular day-to-day affairs after “The Dreaming” festival. For a few days, the Woodford Folk Federation grounds were once again like a world existing on its own.

Sorry to see one of the greats of recent music history part with us. Diddley, an equally influential guitar player and writer, enjoyed entertaining us on his square guitar that he made himself.
